Svitolina has made it to the quarter-finals at Roland Garros on four occasions but has never gone any further.

09:00 CET - Good morning and welcome back to the tennis tracker. After a long clay-court swing, we have finally reached Roland Garros.
Two weeks of thrilling tennis await us from the French Open, and it's a busy schedule to kick us off.
World number one Aryna Sabalenka is the first big hitter to take on the clay in Paris, as she bids for a first title in France. She takes on Kamilla Rakhimova in the first round, looking for safe passage.
Meanwhile, also in the early going, Tommy Paul will be on court as the world number 12 should be in high spirits after getting his repossessed truck back. The American has not made it past the third round in Paris before, and will hope to build on a semi-final run in Rome two weeks ago as he takes on Danish 'lucky loser' Elmer Moller from 11:00 CET.
Overall, we have 39 singles matches on the opening day, so expect some thrills, some spills and maybe even some upsets.
