00:46 CET - Jessica Pegula (29) is the victor in Montreal! The American absolutely wiped the floor with Liudmila Samsonova (24) 6-1, 6-0, to pick up her second WTA 1000 title. Pegula has been superb all week, and has gotten her North American hard court swing off to the perfect start. You have to feel for Samsonova though, who was forced to play two matches in a day due to the rain yesterday, and she was clearly nowhere near her best in this final. Take nothing away from Pegula though. She is a worthy champion.
23:55 CET - Jannik Sinner (21) has won his first Masters title after absolutely dismantling Alex de Minaur (24) 6-4, 6-1 in Toronto! The Italian was at his scintillating best, cruising to the biggest title of his career in just 90 minutes. It's a huge moment for Sinner, who will also now rise to number six in the world rankings.

Rybakina's game totally fell apart after the first set bizarrely, while Samsonova found her groove at the perfect time. She will face Jessica Pegula (29) in the final later on.
