09:00 CET - Good morning and welcome back to what is panning out to be an incredible Roland Garros, with big names tumbling out on the men's side of the draw, meaning we will have a first-time Grand Slam champion come next Sunday.

The action gets underway on Court Philippe-Chatrier at 12:00 CET, with Flavio Cobolli and Learner Tien clashing in what is a massive opportunity for both players on the half of the draw that is so wide open.

That is followed by sixth seed Amanda Anisimova facing home favourite Diane Parry, before defending champion Coco Gauff has a really tricky third-round clash with the in-form Anastasia Potapova.

The night session sees the highest remaining seed in this half, Felix Auger-Aliassime, go head-to-head with Brandon Nakashima. The fourth seed won't have a better chance to reach a Grand Slam final than here at the French Open.

Meanwhile, play starts an hour earlier on Court Suzanne-Lenglen, with a fantastic match to get proceedings started, as four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka faces 18-year-old starlet Iva Jovic for the very first time.

World number one Aryna Sabalenka then continues her quest for a maiden French Open title against Daria Kasatkina, before the 17-year-old French sensation Moise Kouame will look to thrill the home crowd once again against Alejandro Tabilo.

Finally, Frances Tiafoe takes on Portuguese qualifier Jaime Faria. Another massive opportunity for both players - a key theme of the men's tournament.

Other players taking to the outside courts include Jannik Sinner's conqueror, Juan Manuel Cerundolo, his brother, Francisco Cerundolo, Matteo Berrettini, Maria Sakkari, Anna Kalinskaya, Diana Shnaider, Matteo Arnaldi, while another teen marvel, Victoria Mboko, faces off against former Australian Open champion Madison Keys.
