22:40 CET - The American dream is over in the women's draw as Coco Gauff (19) has been soundly beaten by Australian Open champion Aryna Sabalenka (24). The Belarussian won the opening set 6-4 and then ran away with the second to love.
20:54 CET - The first of the Indian Wells quarter finals has been completed with Frances Tiafoe (25) has downed former champion Cameron Norrie (27) 6-4, 6-4 in just under 90 minutes. He will face either Daniil Medvedev (27) or Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (23) in the final four.
10:59 CET - Medvedev said his on-court outbursts at Indian Wells were a distraction to himself and he would be better off shutting up and playing the game instead.
The fifth-seeded Russian is not a fan of the slow hardcourts at the tournament and has vented his frustration during his matches.
"I think it actually distracts me and I'd be better just shutting up and playing. That's what I should do," Medvedev, who beat Alexander Zverev on Tuesday to reach the quarter-finals, said. "But at the same time, that's how I am.
"When I was much younger, I was actually worse. I tried to mature. I do think that in many aspects of my life and in my tennis career I've matured a lot. And I'm better than I was three, four years ago.
"The attitude I had on the court today and with (Ilya) Ivashka was immature. But what else can I say? That's also this high-intensity sport where you're one on one against the opponent and it brings the heat out of you.
"Some players are capable of controlling it better than others. Some are controlling it less, like me. So that's my character, and that's my personality, also."

9:19 CET - Fritz claimed the Delray Beach title last month to become the first American male ranked inside the top five since Andy Roddick in September 2009.
However, the US international, who is among 10 American men in the top 50, said he did not feel like the leader of the pack.
"I wouldn't say 'leader' but I've shown everyone what's possible, because they've always known they can play with me and can compete with me. And if I'm able to do something I know they believe they can do it too," Fritz said.
"I think it gives a lot of reassurance or confidence to them that they can produce the same results I can produce. I feel if the roles were reversed, I'd feel the same way."
8:50 CET - Defending champion Taylor Fritz dug deep into his arsenal to beat Hungarian Marton Fucsovics 6-4 6-3 to reach the quarters. Fritz next faces Italy's Jannik Sinner.
Elsewhere, 10th-seeded Briton Cameron Norrie upset sixth-seeded Andrey Rublev of Russia 6-2 6-4 and American Frances Tiafoe was a 6-4 6-4 winner over Chilean Alejandro Tabilo as both winners take to the court later today against each other.
They will be followed by Daniil Medvedev's match against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
8:45 CET - Later today the matches get even more exciting as the final approaches. Teenage sensation and world no.6 Coco Gauff faces Australian Open winner Aryna Sabalenka. They both survived battling contests as the American rallied off against Rebecca Peterson while her opponent got past Barbora Kejcikova in just over two hours.
8:39 CET - World no.1 and current Indian Wells champion Iga Swiatek continues her attempt at defending her title after she defeated Emma Raducanu after a 6-3, 6-1 contest. Setting up a quarter-final clash against Sorana Cirstea who had defeated WTA Finals champ Caroline Garcia.
