10:21 CET -Australian police have charged a man with armed robbery and accused him of threatening Nick Kyrgios' (28) mother at gunpoint before stealing the Australian tennis player's car, local media reported on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old Canberra suspect appeared in the ACT Magistrates Court on Tuesday to face five charges, including failure to stop for police and driving while suspended, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) said, citing court documents.
He was denied bail.
An ACT policing statement on Monday said police had received a report that a man had threatened a woman with a firearm and allegedly stolen a car.

7:51 CET - World number one Novak Djokovic (35) will be able to compete at the US Open this year after the US government said on Monday it will end its COVID-19 vaccination requirements for international travellers on May 11.
Djokovic, one of the most high-profile athletes unvaccinated against COVID-19, missed the US Open in 2022 due to his vaccine status.
The Serb was unable to enter the country this year after unsuccessfully applying to the US government for special permission to play at Indian Wells and Miami.

7:49 CET - Russia's Veronika Kudermetova (26) said she will remove the logo of sanctioned Russian sponsor Tatneft from her kit so she can compete at Wimbledon this year.
Wimbledon banned Russian and Belarusian players in 2022 over Moscow's invasion of Ukraine but said in March it would accept them as neutral athletes for this year's championships.
Tournament organisers have said players would be prohibited from expressing support for the invasion, which Moscow calls a "special military operation", and must not receive funding from the Russian or Belarusian states.
Kudermetova's sponsor Tatneft, an oil and gas company, was sanctioned by the European Union last June.
"I think for Wimbledon, it's not allowed to play with the badge from Russia, I know that," Kudermetova told reporters at the Madrid Open on Monday.
