Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory, each two-time winners of the FFA/Australia Cup in its 12-year existence, will go head-to-head in Sydney at the same time that former National Soccer League (NSL) giants South Melbourne host fellow former NSL club Queensland Lions at Lakeside Stadium in Melbourne.
It'll be South Melbourne's third semi-finals appearance after they lost to Sydney FC (5-1, 2017) and Macarthur FC (1-0, 2024) in their previous two, whilst Lions FC are making their semi-finals debut.
