The 15-game win streak tied the New York Islanders (1981-82) and the Pittsburgh Penguins (2012-13) for the third longest in NHL history. Pittsburgh holds the record with a 17-gamer in 1992-93 while Columbus had a 16-game win streak in 2016-17.
It was the fifth career shutout and first since 2018 for Pickard, who was making his 100th career NHL start. The Oilers have allowed two goals or fewer in 13 consecutive games.
McDavid had his 53rd career multi-goal game while extending his home point streak to 17 games. Leon Draisaitl finished with three assists and Zach Hyman also scored for Edmonton.
Petr Mrazek finished with 31 saves for Chicago, which tied its franchise record with its 19th straight road loss set in 2004. The Blackhawks' last road win came on Nov. 9 at Tampa Bay, 5-3.

Thomas Harley scored 38 seconds into overtime and Miro Heiskanen had the tying goal in the third period as Dallas rallied to beat Anaheim for the 11th straight time.
Matt Duchene and Craig Smith also scored goals and Jake Oettinger made 18 saves for the Stars. Heiskanen had missed the previous 10 games with a lower-body injury.
Urho Vaakanainen, Troy Terry and Jakob Silfverberg scored for the Ducks. John Gibson had 40 saves for Anaheim, which dropped to 3-7-1 since Dec. 29. Silfverberg had a goal and an assist for Anaheim, while Isac Lundestrom had two assists.
Hurricanes 3, Devils 2
Teuvo Teravainen had a goal and assist as Carolina used early momentum to beat New Jersey in Raleigh, N.C.
Sebastian Aho and Jordan Staal also scored for the Hurricanes, who have won three of their past four games. Antti Raanta made 23 saves.
Justin Dowling scored in his Devils debut, and Jester Bratt also tallied. Nico Daws stopped nine of 12 shots before he was replaced after Carolina's third goal early in the second period. Vitek Vanecek entered and stopped all 11 shots he faced. Devils coach Lindy Ruff was hit in the face by a puck in the second period and missed the third period, with associate coach Travis Green taking charge.

Nikita Kucherov had a goal and two assists, Steven Stamkos added a goal and an assist to eclipse 1,100 career points, and Tampa Bay won its sixth straight home game over Arizona.
Mitchell Chaffee recorded his first career goal, and Brayden Point scored and added an assist. Darren Raddysh and Luke Glendening also scored. Anthony Cirelli notched an assist in his 400th career game, while goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 17 shots.
Arizona's Clayton Keller produced a goal and an assist. Sean Durzi and Lawson Crouse scored for the Coyotes, who were outscored 12-5 in back-to-back losses to the Florida Panthers and Lightning in the Sunshine State swing.

Sean Monahan's second goal of the night broke a tie with 2:12 remaining and host Montreal spoiled a visit from franchise legend Patrick Roy, New York's recently named coach.
The Canadiens took a 3-0 lead in the first period thanks to goals from Nick Suzuki, Cole Caulfield and Monahan. Sam Montembeault made 43 saves as the Canadiens snapped a three-game skid.
Bo Horvat, Mathew Barzal and Kyle Palmieri scored as New York fell to 1-2-0 under Roy, the Canadiens legend who replaced Lane Lambert as coach. Barzal, Palmieri and Horvat also each had an assist for New York, which is mired in an 1-5-1 rut. Noah Dobson contributed three assists, and Semyon Varlamov stopped 22 shots.
Red Wings 3, Flyers 0
Alex Lyon made 30 saves while leading Detroit to a home win over Philadelphia.
It was the third career shutout for Lyon and his second since joining Detroit as a free agent last summer. Dylan Larkin, Moritz Seider and Andrew Copp scored the goals for the Red Wings, who improved to 8-2-1 in their past 11 games. Lucas Raymond notched two assists.
Despite holding a 30-17 advantage in shots, Philadelphia dropped its fourth consecutive game, all in regulation. Samuel Ersson stopped 14 shots.
Bruins 3, Senators 2 (OT)
Brad Marchand scored the deciding goal at 1:48 of overtime as visiting Boston beat Ottawa.
After Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman made his 35th and final save on a shot by Tim Stutzle at the opposite end of the ice, Charlie Coyle sent a cross-ice pass to Marchand for a snapshot to win the game.
Thomas Chabot scored before assisting on Vladimir Tarasenko's game-tying tally with 3:18 left in the third period for Ottawa, which was 3-0-1 in its previous four games.
Predators 3, Wild 2
Nashville scored all three of its goals in the third period and held on to beat Minnesota in St. Paul, Minn.
Roman Josi had a goal and an assist to lead Nashville, which snapped a two-game skid. Alexandre Carrier and Filip Forsberg also scored for the Predators, and Ryan O'Reilly recorded two assists.
Joel Eriksson Ek and Matt Boldy each scored a goal for Minnesota. Kirill Kaprizov had two assists for the Wild, whose three-game winning streak ended.
Blue Jackets 5, Flames 2
Alexandre Texier's second-period short-handed goal sparked visiting Columbus past Calgary.
Yegor Chinakhov, Damon Severson and Adam Fantilli all collected one goal and one assist and Dmitri Voronkov scored once for the Blue Jackets, who snapped a two-game skid. Goaltender Daniil Tarasov made 28 saves to net the win for the Blue Jackets, who sit at the bottom of the Metropolitan Division.
MacKenzie Weegar and Connor Zary scored for the Flames, who have lost four straight games, all in regulation and all at home. Goalie Jacob Markstrom stopped 27 shots.
